Many people wonder what we do with all the stuff we take. Where does it go? Fortunately, we are able to recycle much of it.

Here are some of the more unusual things we recycle:

Couches: Yes, often times we can recycle a couch! This is done by removing the upholstery, then removing all the recyclable components inside, such as a metal spring or frame.

Mattresses: We remove the padding and liner part of the mattress and recycle the metal spring inside.

Tires: While we do charge an extra processing fee for tire removal, they are dropped off at a facility that recycles them in many new creative ways!

Car Batteries: Car batteries contain lead and many other toxic components and should not be on your property if they no longer work. We remove them and recycle them at no additional cost.

These are just a few examples of things we recycle in addition to traditional items such as plastic and metal.

What do you have that could be recycled? Please contact us at 412-848-1388 to discuss your project needs with us and to see if we can help you get rid of unwanted items safely.
